I completely understand.... Gay marriage is not only against the law in NC, it is also against the Constitution of NC. I'm ashamed of my state.

they said somewhere that having the option to not serve someone is freedom. but i disagree. because it takes away of someone eating or getting service there. that's taking away rights and that's the opposite of freedom, and i believe that is NOT what america is about. america should be about being who you want to be, no matter gender, sexual orientation, or religion. if it's against your religion to be gay, then don't be gay. that doesn't mean you have to separate yourself. 

don't get me wrong i don't read the bible daily or anything but i have read a lot, and i don't believe there is a place that says that you have to separate yourself from sin. you shouldn't sin, but you live amongst it. i do know that it says that should be like jesus, and jesus set an example of hanging around with prostitutes and tax collectors and sinners. he washed their feet. the problem is that we see sins and we want to get them away, when really the way to CONVERT is to show compassion. i'm so tired of seeing the Christian religion getting bashed because they do something silly like this. 

i don't know what is so hard about loving everyone. i have my faults and i have issues with accepting myself, but the bottom line is you are who you are. if someone is friends with you and then they find out  you're gay, it shouldn't matter. especially since you're the same person. i can't believe how ignorant people are and how they use their religion to defend themselves. STOP DOING THAT AND OWN UP TO THE FACT THAT YOU'RE JUST SCARED!!!

I hear ya, Eric.  And whatever happened to the whole "All men are created equal" thing, huh???  And hey yea, following Jesus means being with people and loving them AS THEY ARE. For sure!!!  So yeah... I don't get it... fear causes a lot of problems that is for sure. I think things would be a lot better if we took the time to talk to each other and get to know each other you know??
