10,000 miles away (poem)

10,000 miles away

at my beginning i was but a

small boy getting trampled by the wind

push by the light and assaulted by

the dark ,

but know i am older strong enough

to face the wind and the light to stand up and

say no.

strong enough to conquer my mountains

and ford my valleys

thank God for my strength and skill

every day is a cascade , stoping because you

stopping is not an option
