I sing the same song over, longing for new notes
You hear melodious harmonies blending as one as I strike each part
I smile inside as you turn the golden crank again
I want to be heard

I pretend I am the writer of the song
I feel their hate, love, sadness, and joy
I worry if you notice my emotion
I ask am I really that necessary?

The melodies are my safe-hold
In times I am weak
I understand the meaning of the songs
the notes are meant to cast emotions unable to be reached until now
It is the notes who speak
For no words are able to describe
The complexity of sentiments arising

Producing perfect pitches is my goal
