Thank you to all those who voted for me in the awards thingy. my mom has always told me I need to do a better job accepting compliments. Whether it be "you are smart", or " you are beautiful", or whatever it may be, I always say "noooooooooo". I have been that way since I was a little girl. She is probably right.

But a lot of people tell me I'm really bad at accepting compliments as well, I'm with you on that, haha.

I am glad that you understand me on that. Why is it so hard for us to accept nice words from others I wonder? Why can't we be nicer to ourselves? I am getting better though.

You may not realize this because of how I am on here, but in "real life" I am actually fairly shy. Most of the time I tend to fade in the background.

That was me most of freshman year. But now i kinda let go of that.

Okay. so lately I have been posting a lot more here than i have at the other teen site that I am a member at... even though the other forum is way bigger and has way more topics and LOADS more people. But i think that is part of the reason why i guess. I have been a member of VK for going on two months and have yet to receive one message from a "creeper" .... you know a person who messages you and asks you a bunch of uncomfortable questions or whatever.... usually kinda sexual?? Yeah.... This happened to me the FIRST FEW DAYS that i signed up over at that other place.

I guess what i am trying to say is that VK feels like a safe place to me. And i like that.

Yeah, same thing for me, don't worry. Not the first few days, but within, like... two weeks? I think that's about right. They send you a message and it's like, Umm... who the hell are you? Haha. But I like this place a lot more. I actually know everyone who is an active poster here, which is always nice.
