Four day school week.

Well, to be short....

there are many advantages to this. yes, friday saturday and sunday will be off, however, that would add about 2 hours on to school (15 minutes each class) depending on your school life. but, also, it would take thousands of dollars off of the transportation budget. so, what do you think?

no. I rather have a regular 5 day school week than have a 4 day week with longer school hours. also, for younger kids whose parent(s) work, on the Friday, the parent(s) will have to find a baby sitter and that could be tedious

but what about the homework? more time to do that weekend homework, yo.

i agree with Jessica, because yes, it would create less for transportation but wut about sports? Or extra activites? I mean ur saying 15 min. +45 times all that by 8, and adding an extra 20 min. for lunch periods, and each 5 min. passing periods by 8 which is 40. Your talking 2 extra hours in school for a total of 9 hours. If your in extra activities you mite still b at the school until 8 or 9, because practices mainly go for 2 hours for bball, football, and track.



Long Story short lets stick with 5 days a week(:

AND the more "vacation" we have the more we will forget. And eric, we already have, normally, about 17 HOURS to get it done, that is if you don't sleep. GO COFFEE!!!!!

ya it would b better if we did wut my neighbors school system duz...they go to school all year long BUT theygo for 2 weeks then have a break for 2 weeks!(: with unit tests at the end of the 2 weeks

8 hours, 8:05 to 3:05 monday through thurday.

Ya same here....I mean I get wiped out enough with a regular school day....and the drama there drives me nuts...sooo I don't think that would go over very well.

My school week is

Mon - Thur 0830 - 1445
Fri 0830 - 1400

how come your school day ends different on Friday than Mon-Thurs? I find that odd :S

ya our school duz tht too we end everyday at 3:05 except ob friday which we end at 2:35

No, it's for extra breaks.....or atleast thats what the corp wants us to think....

wait... O_O really messed up thought/conspiracy just popped into my head. But that doesn't make sense, I mean like what kind of break do you mean. Like a vacation break, or extra time off break? I thought the corp wanted us in school as much as possible. I don't know maybe I'm wrong.

They mean they had to do that, so we had enough break time set by the state although we have the least number of breaks out of all of the schools in the marshall county

And 7:30-12:48 on Wednesday's. Don't ask me why.
