hash tags

is anybody interested in having a system for hashtags? that way whenever you want to post about something you can also read topics that are already on the topic

with the hashtags will also come an @mention system. what do you guys think? do you want both, or just one or just the other?

The hashtag is a fun gimmick, but alas it remains just that, a gimmick in my opinion. One can argue that they allow better content sorting and pinpointing, but a simple search of the forums is likely more efficient. I wouldn't care if they were added or not, its a fun toy, but I don't seem them as useful.
