I slowly walk to my T.A.R.D.I.S. and go back in time , kill you in another dimension , take the cake from an alternate reality you , take it to this time ,and through quantum physics , we both have cake  now . I am happy .

I use Wyoming's time distortion unit which I have stolen. I have also taken Wyoming's AI, Gamma, so I can use the unit. I proceed to use the time distortion unit to travel back in time when Hunter first had the real cake in his hands.

I then snatch the cake away from Hunter, and use my own AI, Delta, to put up a domed energy shield around me.

Then realize I lack the proper equipment and take the cake by force!

Because the time distortion unit is slightly malfunctioned, it made a copy of the cake from earlier and I now have the cake. The cake is no longer annihilated.

God . I hate quantum physics .

Through the process of Quantum tunnelling I extract the cake from from Mr. Short Circuit's intestines. I then sit the cake on a pedestal, to allow full resumption of this said game.

GAHHH!!! foiled !! but , with the introduction of quantum physics , have we opened up a plethora of alternate realities ? could we in a sense all have our own cake in many worlds , and stop bickering among ourselves about this one cake ? 
I mean , If we wanted , we could all create our own universes .. with our own cakes...
