When someone gets a ban.....

Hey A age ago when we displayed the bannded members group at the bottom of the forum, I remeber clicking on one of the (at the time) somewhat recent bannded members profile...he had uploaded a few pics and they were still there (dont know if this issue is solve now) but I am thinking for the well being of VK whenever someone is banded all photos should be removed, this would give the bannded persons peace of mind and, not clog up VK memory and what not.

I feel if we removed this stuff it would be for everyones best wishes, I just remembered this today so sorry I did not bring this up until now.

Anyway not sure if this is fixed and if its not I know its not easy to fix (dont know if it is or if it is not but I have never noticed any quick fix on my other forumnation forums) Anyway just a suggestion

As I pointed out once, a picture of a banned member looked remarkably like an active member, so I don't think they should be removed (that active member no longer comes on the boards since it was pointed out)

Derri is talking about the "banned" list that used to appear in the Legend on the home page. If a banned member had pictures on his profile, even if they are banned, you could access the pics, He is asking if they could be deleted to save "Storage Space" on the forum

an administrator would have to go through and delete their avatar, and frankly, we dont really have all that time. but hey.. ill give it shot

Well its not really to preserve storage space but that would be a pro, the con is what you just said....

Thing is eric if someone got bannded and it has a pic of themselves then, thats on here until the day VK dies, you know what I mean? that person might but unhappy that this pic is up of them, I know it would be a pain in the *** but its better for all parties because you dont want someones old photos and I am sure the bannded person would like them gone

Then the banned person could ask for it to be taken down via email

yeah. i don't think it's a huge deal.

But if we did it already for them then there is no issue, the site is small and the bans are rare, dont see why it cant be done
