Firefox and Chrome have this extension and when you have it installed you will no longer see ads. There's one for Safari and IE as well

oh yhea I have that on chrome, although never go on chrome, on this laptop, I do on my other two

I use it, it's very useful.
Also put on K9 web protection, blocks just about all ads.
