The Right To Die

The UK is currently looking at the Assisted Suicide Laws, to make it easier for people who have a major illness, like cancer, MS, MND, MD etc.

Do you think people should have the right to choose when they die, instead of having to go through complete agony, and a slow painful death?

I think that it should be legalised for people to make the decision if they want to die , as they are filing for people to help the person

I think people should be able to choose when to die, not just if they are medically ill.

well it should be legal for someone to help a person with assisted suicide because the person may not be able to do it them self

Yes, I do. we have control over our own lives. people should have the choice to end their lives if they want to, although it might be better if they don't...unless they're already going through a painfully slow dying process or whatever...

I think that if they are in pain, and truthfully are on the edge of death they have that chose to end their lives, because only they know when it's their time to die.

i belive that if a person, is truly bad off, i think they have the right to commit sucide.

its there choice, they own their on body, but why do people stop them, because they care.

um, idk about anyone else, but that sounds like we are promoting suicide.
I personaly think that its not worth dying when you have a chance of getting better

Why should we force someone to do something they don't want to? Wouldn't you rather get to those terms on your own? Many people in this situation have already been pushed, so why push more? We should let them come to terms of getting help on their own. Besides it's not our life to live.

I feel that if a person has a terminal disease that is putting them through an agonizing pain, and they know that they are going to die, then i believe they should have the right to make it so they can put an end to it and just die peacefully instead of suffering.

That's exactly my thoughts, because nobody likes to be pushed to do something so why should we push them?

well its not exactly pushing them. it's just limiting them and telling them they can't do something, which is always angering. I mean, if someone was about commit suicide just because they are mad or something, i would try my best not to let them commit suicide, because they would be able to get help. But if it's a sickness and you know you're going to die, i'd just rather them be able to go peacefully.

I just think ya we should talk to them, but not be like "HEY, YOU GO GET HELP," (: hehe

I think it's not my life, and if they want help they will ask for it..We shouldn't just be like ,"Yo you need help man!"

Yeah, the person should be able to make their own decision. I mean, if they commit suicide for no reason, then i guess they'll pay the consequences.

I think it's their life so their choices, and they have to see for themselves that they need help we can't see that for them
