Catch Me Until I Fall (Poem)

I know I ought not to
But I don’t know why
It’s easy for the outsider to look
And say, he not worth your time
Not ever any day
But inside me something feels something more
As if I yearn to learn
Just what goes on
In the head and the heart
Of the one I so long
And now all I can say is
Bon Voyage to the life I once lived
I cannot look back
I cannot look down
For I know that inside
If I do, I will drown
But I don’t know why
