IRC?

Ok, I know there is already a chat box, but I was thinking you could put up an IRC chat, which you can use chat clients like KVIRC or adIRC with as well, therefore making it much easier for people to chat with other members and multitask. I would be happy to help out with getting it on here.

All you have to do is put a link to the IRC on the home page. A lot of forums do that. I can set up the IRC if you want.

I can make one with a proper bot and what not once I get back if you want

Can I request that I be a op when you get done with it?

I think we will have to cross that whole request to be an op when the time comes to it, as I said I am going on holiday so wont be on for awhile but this will be a good idea once I get it done if eric approves

I have just finished making an IRC chat room everybody. Now it may not be able to be put on the website, but if you have a IRC client the URL of it is irc.wikkedwire.com. Once you are connected to the IRC, join channel #Miscellania. Please register your usernames by putting this command in: /msg nickserv register <password you want> <your email address> . Note: these commands are case sensitive! Examples of chat clients would be like KvIRC, mIRC, AdIRC. All moderators, just PM me the username you are using on the IRC and I will make you an op.

I wont get on until the weekend as my main laptop with my IRC client is away for repairs so I cant use it. and its to much work for me to re instal all my IRC stuff

IRC stands for internet relay chat

Basically you can chat to people share files, music even play games and use commands....those are basic features.

Chances are if it is standard it will just be like a chat room with maybe a bot that you can do cammands with.
