If you're wondering about the title , it comes from SNL skit from 1982 , Gumby was a cartoon in the sixties and seventies , and what the skit did was it took the cartoon character  all happy and cheerful on stage  but when the lights went down he pulled out a cigar and made outrageous demands of the crew and every time he didn't get it he would say 

"I'm Gumby , Damnit !"
