When is war acceptable.

What do u mean by that? Like, when to start a war, or when to intervene in a war, or what?

When should we ever start war?

Never.

personally i don't think war is acceptable. i feel like it is barbaric.

Do you mean like a war on drugs?  A war against poison gas?  A war to remove a danger to humanity?

personally, i meant when killing is involved.

War is never acceptable.  There are other things governments can do to make tin pot dictators fall in line.

War is acceptable when all other means of resolution have failed. In my eyes though it is never right for a country to declare war unless another country has or intends to act violently.

Uhm yeah if war means that my country will be protected, then yes it is acceptable. Yes it is sad that we are all humans and gods children fighting against one another, but that's never going to change. We will always be fighting wars but it's for the good of our country and keeping our people safe.

i think war isnt necessary unless people are getting mass murder then its a problem.

Very interesting...  I believe war is a necessary progression once relations have deteriorated to the point that there are attacks happening.  If you mean the standard definition of war, then war is a waste but will never truly go away.  We all wanna prove that we have a bigger dick, if you know what I mean.  Not only is there the aforementioned ego part to war, but on the scale of war like WW1 and WW2 (neither of which were good, but...) it is good for the economy because the government starts spending on things.  But the majority of our most recent wars were completely unwarranted, because they are for the oil companies under the guise of toppling dictators.  That is unacceptable.
